Crystal Reports 11 XI serverlogon "failed" to Oracle ODBC

although their documentation says dsn/database name can be used together,I found if it's ORACLE .rpt file there is no database in CR 11 (in CR 8 there is)

So serverlogon "driver.dll","dsn","databasename","user","pass" will NOT work anymore if you are using Oracle in the report file.

If using SQL Server in the report file you can find the property does contain a database name.

Solution: replace "databasename" with "" and the "login failed" will be gone!

Bug2:Use default DSN must be "false" if you are migrating to 11, otherwise you get error.

Bug3: TABLE Names must be UPPER case other wise Oracle will (default) convert lower case if they are not quoted, and since SOME ARE QUOTED automatically, you will get error
